Understanding that each client’s journey is shaped by personal experiences and cultural contexts, I work to create a safe, affirming space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and goals without judgment. I use an integrative therapeutic approach, combining evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care to support healing and growth. I work collaboratively with clients to build coping strategies, foster resilience, and empower them in their journey toward self-acceptance and well-being.
I am passionate about addressing the systemic and social issues that contribute to mental health challenges and committed to creating a supportive environment where clients feel seen, understood, and validated. Whether managing stressors of daily life or processing complex trauma, I believe in the power of therapy to help individuals reconnect with their strengths and achieve lasting, positive change.
Yodline’s focus areas:
LGBTQIA2S+ | As a therapist committed to supporting the mental health of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am passionate about providing an affirming and inclusive space where individuals can freely explore their identities and experiences. I understand the complexities of navigating self-discovery, societal challenges, and relationship dynamics, and I strive to support clients with empathy and care. Whether addressing mental health challenges, identity questions, or relational concerns, I am here to help foster healing, resilience, and empowerment.
Race-Based Traumatic Stress | The impact of systemic racism and racialized trauma can deeply affect mental health and self-perception. I am dedicated to supporting individuals who have experienced race-based traumatic stress, helping them process the pain, confront internalized oppression, and cultivate their relationship with resilience. Through a lens of cultural sensitivity, cultural humility, and compassion, I assist clients in navigating the challenges of systemic inequities while empowering them to embrace their unique strengths and identities. Together, we work toward healing and reclaiming a sense of empowerment and self-worth.
Neurodivergence | Supporting neurodivergent individuals is a key focus of my work. I recognize the unique strengths and challenges that come with conditions such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and other neurodivergent experiences. My approach is tailored to each client’s needs, fostering self-acceptance and developing strategies to navigate a world often designed with neurotypical norms in mind. Using techniques like mindfulness-based CBT and practical coping skills, I work to create an affirming space where clients can explore their identities, address barriers, and build on their natural strengths to thrive authentically.
Depression & Trauma | As a therapist specializing in depression and trauma, my focus is on helping individuals navigate the emotional weight of past and present challenges. I use evidence-based approaches to address the lingering effects of traumatic experiences and the pervasive impact of depression. By integrating mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other supportive techniques, I aim to provide a safe and nurturing space where clients can process their pain, rebuild their sense of self, and discover pathways toward healing and renewal.
Yodline’s ideal client
My ideal client for therapy is someone who is open to growth and willing to engage in the therapeutic process with honesty, curiosity, and courage. They may be facing challenges—such as trauma, anxiety, depression, or ADHD—that have impacted their mental well-being, relationships, or daily functioning, and they recognize that support could be beneficial. This client understands that therapy is a partnership and is ready to explore their inner world, including difficult emotions and past experiences, to gain deeper insight into themselves.
